Oh, the little details...

Obtain a wedding license at your local Circuit Court Clerk's Office. www.courts.state.va.us/courts/circuit.html 

Most licenses are good for 60 days. There is a fee for this license.

The couple must present valid IDs and be at least 18 years of age.

Bring your license to the wedding as I must sign and return both copies after the ceremony.

The clerk's office should also provide you with a marriage certificate that I can sign for you as a keepsake.

Check with your local Court Clerk's Office about how to obtain a certified copy of your marriage license if you need it for a name change with the Social Security Administration and DMV.
